Industrial Engineer

Your Role

  • The Industrial Engineer will support and optimize the assembly processes and machine technology in our company. This role will focus on improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring high-quality standards while supporting new equipment integration and process development
  • Analyze and improve assembly line processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and time studies
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions using lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping)
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal line balancing and workflow design
  • Support implementation, validation, and optimization of automated and semi-automated assembly equipment
  • Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams on machine performance, uptime, and reliability improvements
  • Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies, robotics, and automation solutions
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and costs
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Mechatronics Manufacturing field (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, etc.)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly operations
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Assembly processes and production systems
    • Industrial engineering tools (time studies, line balancing)
    • Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment and automation technologies
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Experience with robotics, PLCs, or automated assembly systems
  • Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO standards)
  • Knowledge of CAD software or plant layout tools
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
