Overview

The Hardware Developer is the technical authority for wireless and antenna hardware in automotive ECUs, ensuring strong RF performance, EMC compliance, and OEM alignment. This role also supports general hardware design, reviews, and debugging when RF activities are limited.

Your Role

RF & Wireless Engineering

  • Define and optimize RF architectures for UWB, BLE, RF systems and Radar (up to 100GHz).
  • Design and tune antennas and RF front end circuits.
  • Support RF circuit design and antenna integration within ECU housing.
  • Support RF simulations and analyze system level RF performance.
  • Define and execute RF validation tests.
  • Support EMC/EMI compliance (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, OEM standards) together with EMC specialists.

Hardware Development Support (Non‑RF Topics)

  • Act as HW Lead on Wireless projects both development and RFQ’s.
  • Support schematic design and PCB reviews
  • Support hardware design and debugging of hardware prototypes.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of hardware issues and corrective action definition.
  • Participate in DFMEA, technical reviews, and HW documentation.
  • Mentor junior hardware engineers and support cross functional technical discussions.

Your Skills

  • University degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, and similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably in automotive electronics.
  • Proven Experience with wireless technologies: UWB, BLE, NFC, RF measurement equipment
  • Availability to travel and ability to work effectively in cross functional and international teams.
  • Experience with automotive development processes.
  • Antenna tuning experience for constrained housing.
  • Knowledge of SI/PI for mixed signal boards with RF modules.
  • Experience with RF or EMC simulation tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and team collaboration
