Overview
SMT Test Engineers are responsible for introducing, maintaining, and optimizing test and inspection equipment in production. They ensure that all machinery and processes meet quality, efficiency, and traceability standards, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and supervising test technicians.
Key Activities
- Ensure robustness and availability of test and inspection equipment (SPI, AOI, ICT, EOL)
- Create technical specifications for test equipment and integrate with the traceability system
- Debug AOI, SPI, and ICT programs
- Develop operation and maintenance instructions for test equipment
- Supervise and organize test technicians’ activities
- Lead and support continuous improvement actions driven by customer complaints
- Define process flow control and configurations within the traceability system (ITAC)
- Monitor and achieve monthly KPIs (OEE, FPY, MTTR, MTBF)
- Specify software applications used in testing and traceability processes
Profile
- University degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong analytical skills and structured approach to work
- Self-confident, organized, and able to prioritize tasks and projects effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and native language
- Curious, flexible, and adaptable
- Strong interest in electronics and the automotive sector
